This is all I currently have to give an idea of the Raven Box. The Box is being built over the next month.

This is how I imagine the projected imagery immersing the audience and surrounding the box.
Black and white branch projections will develop shadowy ravens then gradually morph into the green foliage of Sula's tree. This mirrors the raven box that I am making. The exterior is monochrome branches, brambles and ravens. Life the lid and slide out the front panel to reveal green lands. Sula's tree on top of the hill on inside of lid. A copperleaf Thames snaking across the green tray below it and eucalyptus foliage covering the draw fronts. Gradually the projection colours become a fiery copper reflecting the interior of the first draw, showing Om's Aleppo, Om's fires, yellow handprints and the gang's graffiti - the interior of the Bothy. Finally the colours will begin to return to stony monochromes as the imagery echos the interior of the second draw - the tower's stones and ravens in unbalanced flight. Gradually fading out to a the sloly shrinking figure of a flying raven. |
